Achievements: 

  • Trained over 1200 women in various self-employment and vocational cources

  • Active role in agitation for bringing 33 percent reservation for women in Indian Parliament

  • Provided Primary Education for more than 200 women

  • Resolved over 500 family disputes through counseling

  • Performed 10 inter-caste marriages

  • Providing financial assistance monthly to 10 old aged women

  • Enrolled more than 300 women in Thrift and Saving schemes of Government  

  • Provided assistance in securing loans for several women entrepreneurs

  • Adopted a small locality called “Thar Tharake Thakia” of 50 families and providing basic infrastructure like water tap and bore well.

  • The above initiative is a good example of promoting harmony among different communities and development of minorities.

  • 400 patients were provided free medical consultation and 200 persons were given spectacles and some were sponsored for cataract operations in 8 medical camps held with the help of Lions club of Hyderabad

  • Arranged two bore wells out of MP funds in Kavvadiguda and Arunjyothi Colony.  Pursuing a drinking water line costing over Rs.3 lakhs for Arunjyothi Colony.

  • Organised tree plantation programs in various colonies  and provided tree guards

  • Replaced tube lights with mercury lights worth Rs.1 lakh in Kavvadiguda and Devi Nagar, Secunderabad. 

  • Arranged distribution of food grins as immediate relief to nearly 200 victim families of heavy rains by M.R.O.

  • Provided assistance to economically backward residents of the twin cities in securing the basic amenities of life

  • Established a Short Stay Home with the help of Central Social Welfare Board of Indian Government for destitute women with counseling and vocational training programs

  • The Inmates of Short Stay Home participated in district level youth festivals and secured 1st and 2nd prizes in songs competitions

  • The Staff and inmates of Short Stay Home participated and won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in Rangoli competitions conducted by Hyderabad District Youth Services
